CUSTOM Driver?  Look at the 919 THI.

The Only CUSTOM Driver Head Worthy Of The Name!!

Here is the hard truth about the  Wishon Golf 919 THI Driver .  I am not referring to marketing hype and fancy names, nor “technology” that changes every year – just the facts!  I would like to credit fellow AGCP Professional Clubfitter Tony Wright of Game Improvement Golf in Oak Ridge, Tennessee who granted me permission to reprint some of his findings about the 919THI.

  • The ONLY driver in the world available in custom loft, lie angle, and face angle – EACH spec independent of the other.  Lofts between 8 and 16.5 degrees, lie angles from 4 degrees flat to 4 degree upright, face angles 4 degrees open to 4 degrees closed – IN ANY COMBINATION!
  • Cup face construction to increase off-center hit performance.  Wishon Golf INVENTED cup face driver construction in the mid 1990s!!
  • Variable face thickness to allow off-center areas of the face to flex inward more than possible with a single face thickness. The result – higher COR and higher ball speed for off-center hits for more off-center shot distance.
  • Because of 7 different face thickness inspections and checks during production – 98% of Wishon 919 THI heads come from the factory with smash factors between 1.48 and 1.50 (COR between 0.825 and 0830).    You know you will get great performance with a great fit!
  • As AGCP Master Fitter Bill Weitzel – Conquest Custom Golf – says – “Nothing Is As Forgiving As A 919!”

Wishon Fairway Woods & Hybrids

  • Accurate club head specifications...a 14.5° loft angle is exactly 14.5°.
  • Hand select loft angle. +/- 1° loft difference from standard loft angles.
  • Specify face angle and lie angle to be bent +/- 4° in any direction. This "Bendable Hosel" is NOT available on any other brand.
  • Extremely high moment of inertia which results in accurate ball flight.
  • Graduated Roll Technology - a unique vertical face design that produces the same loft angle up and down the face. GRT face design delivers a far more consistent launch angle over the entire club face for much more consistent distance and flight for every skill level.

Wishon 929HS Fairway Wood has a compact head with a narrow face height  It too  has the bendable hosel feature.  We are able to specify face angle and lie angle to be bent +/- 4° in any direction.

Designed for players who need help getting long fairway shots on a higher trajectory and is also good for players who play from tight, closely mowed fairways.

Wishon 775HS Hybrids produce a higher ball speed for more distance

The 775HS hybrid head uses a high strength HS350 Steel Alloy club face. The split level, narrowed sole width reduces sole to turf contact for more solid shotmaking from fairway or rough conditions. The face progression is between an iron and fairway wood to enable golfers to play it with the same ball position and swing motion as an iron of the same loft.

Graduated Roll Technology - a unique vertical face design that produces the same loft angle up and down the face. GRT face design delivers a far more consistent launch angle over the entire club face for much more consistent distance and flight.

Premium features:
Most accurate club head specifications
Hand select loft angle: Add or subtract 1° loft from standard loft angles.
Face angle and lie angle can be bent +/- 4° in any direction (NOT available on any other brand).

A Sampling of Our Best Selling Irons & Wedges

771 CSI Irons

These irons are very impressive - they are a Golf Digest Hot List winner.  The feel is very good; much smoother than almost any iron with an ultra-thin, hi-COR face.  They're quite forgiving on mis-hits with less distance drop-off compared to traditional faced irons.

There's a bit of offset but it's hard to distinguish due to the hosel's unique taper.  This feature was implemented by Tom Wishon in the late 1990's when he designed Payne Stewart's last set of irons.  The design feature is still very useful today.  It lessens the visual effect of offset for those that are sensitive to that appearance.  The top-line can be described as a mid-thickness design.

The 771's can be easily adjusted for loft and lie, unlike many other OEM hi-COR irons.  They are conventional sized and will appeal to a large group of golfers.  They are available in both right and left handed models.

565 MC Forged Irons

The 565MC irons add a more solid on-center feel to the best off-center forgiveness in a carbon steel iron. The new center cavity "half-moon weighting" increases on-center impact feel while offering a very slight increase in shot trajectory.

They have a CNC machined deep cavity back for the highest MOI in a true forged iron.

This iron is suited for the purist who is looking for a lot of forgiveness.  A thinner top line has been added as well as a gorgeous cosmetic appearance.  It has a fully radiused tour grind sole design suitable for many scratch to mid-handicap players.

Features and Specifications

  • Low offset design.
  • Completely CNC machined back cavity ensures prices CG position for each head number with a beautiful cosmetic appearance
  • Double nickel chrome pearl plated finish with glass bead highlights and CNC machined scorelines within 2010 USGA rule guidelines.
  • Head Material: Forged 1035 Carbon Steel

575 MMC Forged Irons

Each 575MMC iron starts as a soft 1035C carbon steel raw forging with a completely blank and flat back. The back shape is then individually “carved” by precision CNC machining to ensure complete precision for the progressive center of gravity position and progressive MOI.

The 575MMC's employ a more precise form of CNC machining to create a mixed set of cavity back #3 to 7 to muscle back #8 to Gap Wedge forged irons in a progressive back weight distribution design. Starting with the 3-iron, the back design of each cavity back iron is CNC machined to create a progressive cavity design that allows the cavity mass to progress from lowest on the #3 to slightly higher on each successive cavity back through the #7 iron. The progression of the back design continues in the muscle back #8 through wedges as Wishon Golf uses the precision CNC machining to allow the muscle back mass to progress from mid blade on the back of the #8 to highest on the PW and AW.

By using smaller machining cutters, Wishon Golf has created a finely grained milling effect that speaks clearly to the beauty and precision of this unique forged carbon steel design. In all honesty, the 575MMC forged irons will stand as one of the most beautiful player’s iron designs ever created.

Micro Groove HM Wedges

Wishon Micro Groove HM Wedges feature a CNC milled face with Micro-groove scorelines to get additional backspin on short accuracy shots.

The popular HM Series wedges have been re-designed with a unique custom sole grind to increase playability for more types of wedge shots.

New Zero Bounce heel grind removes the bounce from the heel end of the sole for more consistency when the face is opened to hit finesse and cut shots.

Front sole Knock Down grind allows golfers to more easily play low, driving, hands forward shots without digging the leading edge into the ground as much. Center to rear sole grind offers conventional bounce for normal shots from all lie conditions.

PCF Platinum Wedges

Wishon PCF Platinum Wedges feature a CNC milled face with Micro-groove scorelines for more backspin on short accuracy shots.  The scorelines are more narrow and closer together than traditional scorelines.  They allow the edges of 5 lines to contact the ball at impact while traditional lines only allow 3.  This is one more key to the enhanced spin design of the PCF Platinum Wedges

The traditional, narrow sole, classic shape/profile stands as the finest overall shape and set-up behind the ball in a Wishon Golf original wedge design.

The bottom of the club (sole) has the leading edge sitting very low to the ground for ease in hitting shots from very short grass. Straighter leading edge for better turf interaction.  Designed with Wishon Golf’s unique “zero-bounce heel” – all the bounce has been removed from the heel area of the sole to allow golfers to roll the face open without raising the leading edge.  A key to playability from thin grass and even hardpan.

304 Stainless Steel produces the softest feel. Dark Nickel Platinum finish will give you the Tour preferred distinctive, non-glare look.
